Given that there's fuck all to talk about other than who we're pretending to try and sign this week, off the back of the Enner Valencia thread I thought about who the worst players I regularly saw playing for us were.
Now, this could be for a number of reasons, you thought they were poor, they loved an own goal, a booking or a red or they missed open goals, you thought "oh not him again" or you just plain didn't like the cunt.
Can give a reason too if you want.
It's a bit of fun, no need for the PCB to boot off about it.

Dowie's wonder header at stockport county is the funniest thing I've witnessed in all the yrs going looking back.
Stunned for weeks at the time..just couldn't get my nut around it..it was a fuckin blinding header..top drawer.

By Johnson's rules I'd have Etherington and Carrick. I hated the spineless fuckers. Oh, and Pat(sy) Holland, too. But I'd be hard pressed to say either of the first two was actually shit and virtually nobody else thinks as badly of Patsy as I do. The stupid short, curly, ginger-haired cunt.. Ayew is very close to going in the same book for me.
For pure comedy value, you'd struggle to top a procession of failures to replace Peter Brabrook in the late 60s and early 70s. Harry Redknapp, Joe Durrell, Yilmaz Orhan and Johnny Ayris spring most immediately to my mind.

Poor old Peter Eustace. He was bang average for us, for sure, or a bit worse, but the irresistible temptation to yell, 'Useless Eustace', from the Chicken Run did for him here.
Bloody lovely bloke, used to run the Cheshire Cheese pub at Hope in the Peak District full of West Ham and Wednesday memorabilia, and loved to yarn about his days down south.

Simon Webster was a disaster and he cost big money
Won't hear a word against Dale Banton, was a prolific scorer from midfield for our reserves and went on to have an excellent career in the lower divisions

Why Johnson? Do you think he's one of our best? I well remember standing directly behind the goal as he headed a fantastic header for his first goal in about 35 games but he seemed to have forgotten that he was helping the defence rather scoring his first goal in.....fucking forever!!!!
